Command to find VIP and Public node name

Below command will give you the Public and VIP Node name:

Note: Change the Oracle version accordingly in below command.

  /u01/app/12.1.0.2/grid/bin/olsnodes -n -i

Example:

test5@DEV [~]$ /u01/app/12.1.0.2/grid/bin/olsnodes -n -i
test_env01   3   test1-racvip.oraclebricks.com
test_env02   4   test2-racvip.oraclebricks.com

From above example below is Public Node name:

test_env01
test_env02

And VIP Node name:

test1-racvip.oraclebricks.com
test2-racvip.oraclebricks.com

 

To find Private IP Details:

test5@DEV [~]$ /u01/app/12.1.0.2/grid/bin/olsnodes -n -i -l -p
test_env01   3   172.155.44.3   test1-racvip.oraclebricks.com

From above —> 172.155.44.3 is Private ip
